An intruder alarm can either be an essential requirement or provide an additional safeguard and peace of mind that your property is safe and protected. Government statistics show that 80% of burglaries attempted on homes fitted with an intruder alarm are unsuccessful – proof that they act as an effective deterrent.
All Secure build intruder alarms are professionally designed and installed to suit your particular needs. With multiple codes for family and friends, you control who can enter your home and control your home security system. If you have pets and want to give them freedom to certain areas, this can be built into the design of the home intruder alarm system.
There are commonly two types of intruder alarm: Hardwired and Wireless.
Being more traditional, the whole alarm system is wired in an high quality alarm cable . All Passive Infrared Sensors (PIRs) are mounted on a wall or ceiling to a high standard . The main control box is located out of sight near your fuse box for the house’s electrics and the Remote Control Keypad (RKP) is located in a convenient place, allowing you to set and unset the system. The bell box is sighted at the front of your property and a dummy on the rear or the side. The installation is carried out to BS EN 50131 standard.
Do you have wooden floors or have you just recently decorated? If the answer is yes, the Secure build Wireless Alarm System is just what you are looking for. Wireless Alarms have vastly improved over the past decade and are now becoming very popular. Long forgotten are the days of devices not working when the alarm has been armed, random error messages appearing on the control panel, or the external siren activating randomly.
The wireless alarm we install is part of the two-way wireless technology revolution. So what does this mean? The wireless technology used holds a significant advantage over one-way and even some two-way wireless products currently available on the market: All wireless devices know when the system is armed and disarmed. Armed: All movement detectors are permanently awake making the protection much more secure. Disarmed: The detection component of the movement detectors is disabled, preserving battery power. However, the detectors still communicate with the control panel via low power supervision messages.
